Why He's On The Site: CH
first saw Keith perform when he opened for Jim Norton @ Westbury
Music Fair in 2002...Keith's addition to CH may come as a
shocker after the site trashed him for his appearance at the
Patrice O'Neal Roast in 2003...Part of the "Cellar
Clique", Keith is one of the best at annihilating his
friends with zingers & one liners...A stand out regular on
the former Tough Crowd w/ Colin Quinn...Keith's act consists of
him telling stories from his mischievous past, including
fighting cops, rape allegations, & other fucked up dealings
with the opposite sex...Keith doesn't rely on the typical white
people/black people gimmick to get cheap laughter...A road
tested veteran, Keith has been working the circuit for over a
dozen years and has guided many other performers to stardom
throughout his career
Official Bio: Keith
Robinson is a comedy veteran whose unique style has propelled
him to stardom. Keith has an impressive track record which
includes performances at The Improv and The Laugh Factory in Los
Angeles, The Comedy Strip in New York, Trump's Plaza Hotel and
countless others. He has also toured internationally in London,
Scotland and the Islands.
Since Keith leaves the audience screaming and
hollering for more, naturally his theme song is Marvin Gaye's,
"Inner City Blues." Keith is by far one of comedy's
most energetic performers and his commanding stage presence has
gained him appearances on MTV, VH1, HBO's Def Comedy Jam and
Louie Anderson's Comedy Hour.
Keith is not one to stray from issues, but
rather tackles them head on. He addresses everything from
politics, childhood, music, and pop culture to the latest
hairstyles and growing up in South Philly by raising obvious
questions to the audience. Storyteller best defines Keith
Robinson, but not entirely. His endless list of talents launched
him to the forefront of the comedy world by following a superb
sketch on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
After that breakthrough performance, Keith was
off to bigger and better things. After shining in a supporting
role in the HBO production, "Rebound: The Story of Earl
'The Goat' Manigault," movie insiders stood up and took
notice of his unique ability to captivate an audience.
Having shared the spotlight with such popular
comedians as Roseanne, Martin Lawrence and Tim Allen, Ketih is
now aggressively pursuing a film career both in front of and
behind the scenes.
